Dr. Mutee ur Rahman

Distinguished academic and industry leader specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computational Linguistics, and Applied Machine Learning. With over two decades of experience, he currently serves as a Professor at Isra University. He previously held the position of Chief AI Officer at Sarovar Inc., bridging academic research with industry AI applications.

He earned his PhD in Natural Language Processing through the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) program, with pioneering research in computational grammar modeling of Sindhi morphology and syntax. Dr. Rahman has contributed to several internationally funded projects, including a DAAD initiative on Text‑to‑Speech for Urdu at the University of Konstanz, Germany, and the Erasmus+ project on Active Learning in Engineering Education. He also played a leading role in the EU‑collaborative ICT‑INOV project, which focused on modernizing ICT education to foster innovation.

Beyond academia, Dr. Rahman serves as a consulting developer for the NLP pipeline for Sindhi in the open‑source Stanza framework and is a founding member of the Society for Natural Language Processing Pakistan. His work integrates deep learning and AI to drive impactful solutions in both research and education, reflecting a career dedicated to advancing language technologies and fostering cross‑sector collaboration.
